We are perhaps slightly similar to some other shops; located in a strip mall of auto services, close to fast food and gas stations... But what absolutely makes us a top shop is that we are the father & son, trusted small town repair shop with the speedy turn-around of a city shop - complete with ASE certified master technicians with state of the art diagnostic equipment.
HISTORY
Starting in 2002; the son was brought in as lead technician via a mentorship program. By 2003 he bought in as part owner, and January 2005 he became sole owner of his own shop by age 28. Once he had full ownership, his retired father joined him to manage the front office and the father & son personality of Sparks Car Care was born. The shop's recipe for success is personable, great customer service and professional, reliable vehicle service. The biggest obstacle to our current success was patiently waiting as that trusted reputation was established and turned into repeat customers and customer referrals.
CUSTOMER SERVICE
The key to our success is nothing gimmicky or revolutionary; we simply treat people how we always want to be treated – fairly and honestly – and we give them a service they need at a reasonable price. And, thanks to dad in the front office, in addition to the technical specifics and details we also explain our services in a layman’s language that customers really appreciate.
You can say we’re more personable than most and that we do go the extra mile – we just don’t recognize that it’s an “extra mile” while we’re traveling on it. One example: we made the city newspaper on January 8, 2005 – we made the “Sainted” portion of their “Sainted & Tainted” section. We also regularly receive thank you notes and letters from happy customers.
We know our customer service and father & son neighborhood shop personality is shining through because customers come back to us. They refer friends and family members to us. Since 90% of our new business is from customer referrals we know that great customer service and professional, reliable vehicle service are the absolute most important aspects of our business.
